AGA, LLC is a small boutique accounting firm specializing in small business accounting and tax preparation. Our services range from A/P, A/R, Payroll and Bookkeeping functions to Monthly Financial Statement Preparation, QuickBooks Training, Business Analysis and Tax Preparation.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to help with current work load and grow with our business. 1-3 years of bookkeeping and accounts payable experience or degree in accounting preferred. Looking for this candidate to start ASAP working Monday – Thursday/Friday for approximately 32-40 hours per week – hours can be flexible to work around school/kids schedules, etc. but will require daytime hours.

Candidate must have the ability to stay on task, be detail oriented, organized, proactive thinking, a good problem solver and work independently as well as be a team player. Professional interaction with clients and staff will be necessary.

Candidate would work out of our Morrisville, VT office.


Ability to multitask

Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

Proficient with office equipment including computer, copier, scanner, fax & phone

Superior customer service skills

Ability to work independently and with a team

Attention to detail


Ability to prioritize work load


1-3 Years bookkeeping/accounting experience, especially accounts payable

Degree in accounting or related field

Proficient in QuickBooks software

Job Duties Include:


Faxing, emailing, scanning

Maintenance of electronic files as necessary



QuickBooks Data Entry

AP Functions

Client and vendor interaction via phone, fax & email


Paid Time Off ( 3 Week Equivalent to start and increases with time)
