Important Deadlines for Tax Preparation

February 15th: All S-Corp & Partnership Tax Documents & QB Files due to AGA for timely filing

March 15th: S-Corp and Partnership Tax Filing & Extension Deadline – $250 Due to VT!

March 15th: All Corporate and Individual Tax Documents due to AGA for timely filing

April 15th: Corporate and Individual Tax Filing & Extension Deadline – $300 Due to VT (C-Corps)!

April 15th: All Individual Tax for 2022 Due regardless of extension!

September 15th: Business Extension Deadline

October 15th: Personal Extension Deadline

Standard Mileage Rates for 2022

The IRS issued the 2022 optional standard mileage rates used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business, charitable, medical or moving purposes. Beginning July 1, 2022, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car (also vans, pickups or panel trucks) will be:

  • 62.5 cents per mile driven for business use
  • 18 cents per mile driven for medical care or moving expenses for purposes of certain members of the Armed Forces
  • 14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations

Do you have remote employees? What state are they working in? Do you know you could have reporting and insurance requirements in those states? Send us an email if you think you may have compliance issues!
